Marketing Geek

We're growing fast and we need a new Marketing Assistant to help us promote our efforts to make technology, programming, math, and science fun.

As our Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in getting the word out about all the cool books we’re producing, like The Linux Command Line, The Manga Guide to Linear Algebra, The Cult of LEGO, and Practical Malware Analysis.

You will:

• Write and implement marketing plans
• Pitch to media and follow up
• Draft copy and marketing materials

You’ll work closely with our editors and marketing team to increase the visibility of our books while building our brand. You'll do real work from day one as you learn our particular take on the publishing business.

You should be enthusiastic, self-directed, organized, and flexible. Strong writing, research, and communication skills are a must, as is a passion for technology and an affinity for geeks.
